A global Industrial Automation company with ~€2 billion spend per year, and a diversified portfolio with 100+ brands, needed to embrace digitalization to manage spend, identify tail spend and savings strategically, and achieve continuous improvement.
Key challenges included spend management across 10+ legacy ERP systems, intermediate data quality & high complexity, no standard process, no supplier monitoring, and no savings tracking.
Solution
With a vision to accelerate spend data coverage at the organizational level and enhance the reporting structure, STATXO established a data warehouse with automated monthly updates to centralize and cleanse the data. Additionally, two interactive dashboards were developed: one for spend reporting and forecasting, and another for tracking and forecasting savings using year-to-date (YTD) spend data.
